Jay Galvan is a filmmaker and storyteller at heart, starting his Directing career after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Fine Arts.

Jay has completed a feature film, several short films and tourism channel called Austin411. Austin411 showed in nine downtown Austin hotels. It was broadcast into every room of each hotel and is still running at the Hilton Downtown and the Renaissance Austin Hotel in the Arboretum.

He has 11+ years of experience in the dot-com world and refined his expertise in web and print work by designing major web initiatives for Fortune 500 companies such as Fannie Mae, AOL, HP and Atkins.

Jolyn Janis comes to the project with 11+ years of experience as Art Director in the design agency world, working with companies such as GSD&M’s Idea City, Enfatico, Dell and National Instruments. She entered the entertainment industry as an actor and took a turn in the business as she found her niche as a Producer.

Jay Galvan and Jolyn Janis formed Artist in Resonance Films, Inc. to produce new and innovative films in the Austin community. They specialize in feature films, short films and television/broadcast. Their work includes commercials for United Way, Capital Area Food Bank, the Long Center as well as the TV pilot “The Times,” the feature film “Secret of Suranesh,” several short films and many more in the queue.
